How trash works here

Wimberley does not haul it for you by default

Curbside trash pickup is not mandatory inside Wimberley city limits. The city says property owners who want service sign up with Texas Disposal Systems, and that same company holds the city's roll-off dumpster rights.

Outside city limits, Hays County runs a transfer station on Carney Lane in Wimberley for rural residents who do not have trash service at home. The county does not run pickup. You load it, you drive it there.

That is the gap a junk removal crew fills. If the pile is too big for the truck bed, or it is a hot tub, a deck or a shed that has to come apart first, we load it, haul it and you do not make the trip. The official pages are linked further down so you can compare.

Wimberley questions

Have you done work in Wimberley?
None of the documented jobs on this site are tagged Wimberley yet. It is inside the 55 mile radius and in the same county as the base, but we will not put a San Marcos photo under a Wimberley headline.
How far is Wimberley from San Marcos?
About 15 miles west on RR 12, in Hays County, the same county as the base.
Can I just take it to the county transfer station myself?
If you have the truck, the time and the load is something they accept, yes. Hays County runs a transfer station on Carney Lane in Wimberley for rural residents. The link is below. Call us when it is too big, too heavy or has to be torn down first.
Can you take down an old deck or shed?
Yes. Decks, fences, sheds and trampolines come apart on site and the debris leaves on the same trip. See deck removal and shed removal.
What do you charge?
It comes down to volume, weight, how far the load has to be carried and what has to be taken apart first. You get the number before anyone starts loading. Read how pricing works or call (210) 723-9325.
Do you take paint, chemicals or tires?
No paint, solvents, fuel, propane or pool chemicals. Hays County residents can use the household hazardous waste facility in San Marcos for those. It is linked below.
