Straight answer

This one is a drive

The normal working radius is about 55 miles from San Marcos, and San Antonio sits inside it, near the south end. It is one of the longer drives on the list, so here is the honest version of what that means.

Bexar County work happens. There is a documented job here. What it means practically is that the size of the job decides whether the trip makes sense. A trampoline, a hot tub, a shed that needs to come down, a garage or a full property cleanout: those are worth the drive and they are the kind of work that gets booked down here. A single mattress on a Tuesday probably is not, and you will get told that on the phone rather than after.

San Antonio questions

Do you actually come to San Antonio?
Yes, and there is a job in Bexar County on this page to prove it. It is about fifty miles from the base in San Marcos, which is inside the 55 mile working radius, near the south end of it. Call (210) 723-9325 and ask about the day you need.
Is it worth calling you instead of somebody local?
For a small single item pickup, probably not, and we will tell you that. For a trampoline, a hot tub, a shed tear down or a full cleanout, the drive is a smaller part of the job than the work is, and the demolition side is not something every hauler down here offers.
How does a trampoline come apart?
Net and poles first, then the mat and springs, then the frame comes apart in sections in the yard. It goes out through the gate by hand and onto the trailer. That is the job in the photos. See trampoline removal.
Can you get it out through a narrow side yard?
That is the normal case and it is why things get taken apart in place rather than dragged out whole. The San Antonio job went out through a side yard by hand.
Do you do demolition in San Antonio, not just hauling?
Yes. Decks, fences, sheds and interior demo. Demolition is the reason most of the longer drives happen at all.
What about the areas between here and there?
Covered. There is documented work in unincorporated Guadalupe County and loads get tipped at the Guadalupe County landfill on FM 1150. New Braunfels is in between and it is a short run.
